Southport BID feature by Andrew Brown Stand up For Southport

Thousands of visitors have enjoyed the fun DinoTown attraction since it arrived in Southport town centre last week.

This weekend is expected to be busy again, with the popular family attraction in place until a week on Sunday (14th April 2024).

DinoTown has seen the installation of fifteen awe-inspiring brick-built dinosaur Brickosaur models, consisting of over 550,000 bricks, across Southport town centre.

It has been made possible through Southport BID and local businesses.

Families can enjoy a whole host of dinosaur themed events and activities taking place including a Dinormous Egg Hunt, where you can hunt out huge chocolate Easter eggs hidden around town.

You can discover all you need to know here: www.southportbid.com/dinotown

Activity maps can be followed online, printed at home, or picked up from Sainsbury’s, Primark, ASDA, Marks and Spencer Café, or The Atkinson.

Look out for the special DinoTown selfie zones too – don’t forget to post your photos online!
