Southport BID feature
Over 100 representatives of Southport town centre businesses have been trained in First Aid at recent courses.
The three courses, organised by Southport BID, were delivered by Jonathan Cunningham on behalf of Southport Community First Response Team.
Members of Southport Pubwatch gathered at The Southport Coaster for the first session in October 2023. Two courses since, available to all BID businesses, have been held at The Vincent Hotel.
Delegates were trained in basic first aid, CPR, defibrillation, catastrophic bleeding, and much more.
Southport BID organised the courses after feedback from businesses at a number of BID business forums, including the Southport Independents Group and National Retailers Leadership Group.
