PureGym is opening in Southport

The opening date has been revealed for the new PureGym in Southport. 

The UK’s largest gym operator, is excited to be bringing flexible, affordable fitness to Meols Cop Retail Park in Southport. 

The brand-new gym will be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week and will offer people the opportunity to reach their fitness goals at a time convenient to them through PureGym’s flagship low cost, zero contract memberships. 

From 12pm on Friday, 24th November, members will be able to access the 12,000 sq ft fitness facility, which will be supplied with everything they need to work out including: 

  • Hundreds of pieces of state-of-the-art equipment 
  • A functional zone, free weights area, fixed resistance, stretch, cardio equipment and a fitness studio
  • A huge range of classes which can be booked 14 days in advance 
  • Certified PTs available to support clients and a free initial exercise induction 
  • Free parking available on site 

The new gym will create nine new jobs. 

PureGym is committed to providing a safe place for everybody to work out and as part of its TrainSafe commitment it has installed automated external defibrillators (AEDs) in all of its gyms. 

AEDs can be lifesaving in a critical situation, which is why we believe they are as essential as any other piece of equipment in the gym.
