The Northern Quarter is lighting up to welcome families this weekend as Lightport comes to Southport.
Lightport is a brand-new, free immersive light and sound experience taking place along Lord Street from Saturday 14th February 2026 to Monday 16 February 2026.
Between 5pm to 9pm, Lightport will see families, friends and visitors of all ages explore a vibrant world of colour, sound and movement from the Mermaid Gardens to the Town Hall Gardens.
There is plenty to enjoy in the Northern Quarter on Lord Street too, including a Rainbow Wonderland at The Grand on Lord Street this Sunday (15th February 2026).
This FREE fantastic outdoor family event takes place between 4pm and 7pm.
Admission is free, and no tickets are required, just turn up and enjoy.

Meet the Trolls
DJ bringing the party vibes
Stilt Walkers
