A new shop has opened on Lord Street in Southport – with all profits raised going to the Children’s Charity Merseyside.
Serendipity Curios has opened at 15 Lord Street, Southport PR8 1RP, near the Ribble Building and Morrisons supermarket.
It is the latest new business to open in the ‘Western Quarter’ of Lord Street in recent months, joining established favourites such as Cleveland Cafe, Kalash Divine Indian, Boulevard West and Anytime Fitness, and exciting new independents such as Fenney Kay, Royale’s and Dental Arts @ 23 Lord Street.
Further investment is pouring in too with the former Garrick Theatre / Mecca Bingo building being bought at the end of last year, while Wetherspoon is converting the former Pavilion Buildings into the town’s first Wetherspoon Hotel.
Serendipity Curios has been opened by Roy Carnall, the same owner who last year opened a great live music venue called Royales Bar nearby which hosts some of Southport’s best musical talent.
Serendipity Curios is now selling new and second hand items in aid of the Children’s Charity Merseyside.
Local businessman Roy Carnall is an Ambassador of the charity and all proceeds are being given to the charity to help children in Merseyside.
Everyone involved with this charity are volunteers and give up their spare time to help out in whichever way they can.
Serendipity Curios will accept any donations new and old.
