Southport town centre has an exciting new addition to its burgeoning world food scene with the opening of a brand new Moroccan and Mediterranean takeaway.

Oasis Restaurant is a Moroccan and Mediterranean takeaway bringing authentic flavours to local residents.

It has opened at 12 Union Street, on the site of the former Pomodoro restaurant.

Oasis specialises in freshly prepared, home-made halal dishes, with a menu inspired by rich Moroccan and Mediterranean traditions.

From flavourful tagines and spiced grills to vegetarian favourites, everything is cooked with care and authenticity.

At the moment, Oasis operates as a takeaway-only restaurant, with all dishes available for collection or delivery.

Orders can be placed easily through the website: www.oasisfood.co.uk or over Southport Eats.

The restaurant is owned by Helmi Toumi, an experienced entrepreneur who has successfully run several businesses across the UK, including in London’s Edgware Road, Manchester, Wigan, and Preston.

Building on this experience, Helmi decided to bring his passion for food to Southport by opening his own restaurant here.

Speaking about the move, Helmi explained that he chose Southport town centre because of its vibrant community and the opportunity to introduce something fresh and different to the local food scene.

His vision is for Oasis to become a go-to spot for high-quality, flavourful Moroccan and Mediterranean takeaway food.
