Historic Meols Hall in Churchtown, in Southport, has been named among the winners of the 5th annual Hitched Wedding Awards.
The awards are organised by Hitched.co.uk a UK wedding planning platform and part of The Knot Worldwide Inc.
Among this year’s honourees is Meols Hall, recognised as one of the most trusted and highly rated wedding professionals in the country.
Meols Hall is Southport’s oldest manor house, dating back to the 12th Century. Set in a hundred acres of private parkland, adjoining the picturesque village of Churchtown, this is one of the first settlements in the North West, as dreamy now as it was then. After all these years it remains one of the most romantic venues in England.
The Tithe Barn, on the edge of the park, provides a strikingly beautiful setting in the North West for special events, including weddings, christenings, birthday parties, company get-togethers, product launches, award ceremonies and Celebration of life.
The Hitched Wedding Awards celebrate excellence across the UK wedding industry, with winners chosen solely based on genuine reviews from recently married couples.
More than 45,000 verified reviews collected in 2025 were analysed across over 31,000 professionals listed on Hitched, making this accolade one of the most comprehensive and transparent recognition programmes in the UK wedding sector.
To qualify, vendors needed to collect a minimum of 7 reviews with an average rating of 4.75/5 between January 1st and December 31st, 2025.
Each winner is chosen by couples themselves – a true reflection of authentic experiences, high customer satisfaction and trust.
Recognised for excellence, Meols Hall has been awarded in the Wedding Venue Hitched category – a reflection of their commitment, professionalism and the outstanding experiences they deliver to couples.
