The team at Massam and Marshall Independent Funeral Directors have got talent!

Since the middle of 2025, David Massam and friends have been touring around churches in the local area performing concerts entitled ‘Songs of Love and Praise’ and now they are looking for more churches in Southport and the surrounding areas to support.

David Massam and Charlotte Long are the funeral directors at Massam and Marshall Independent Funeral Directors and joining them are Rebecca Jennings, Ben Richards and Amanda Male who perform a mix of contemporary music, hymns, hits from the musicals and sing along classics designed to get the audience singing along and tapping their feet.

So far the shows have received rave reviews and most venues have sold out so far.

David Massam, Managing Director of Massam and Marshall and accomplished singer, said:

“The idea came to me earlier this year so I contacted a number of local churches to see if they were interested and since then we have raised a total of £5,620.66 in total which has been shared between the host churches and Bebe’s Hive which is a charity very close to our hearts.

“We ask local churches to host the concerts and provide refreshments for the audience and they are welcome to run raffles and other things in the course of the evening. 50% of the ticket money will go to the host church and the other 50% will go to Bebe’s Hive CIC.”
