Nearly 400 people registered to attend Sefton@Work’s latest Be Inspired events, held in Bootle on Wednesday 16th September 2026 and in Southport on Wednesday 23rd September 2026.
Forty-four local employers, training providers and partner organisations attended the events designed to help residents discover new job, training and career opportunities. The 377 who signed up for the two sessions had the chance to meet employers from a wide range of sectors, learn about current vacancies, explore training opportunities and gain practical careers advice. And it was all under one roof
Cllr Paulette Lappin, Cabinet Member for Regeneration and Skills, said:
“It was fantastic to see so many people attending our Be Inspired events and taking positive steps towards their future careers. Whether someone was looking for their first job, considering a change of direction or wanting to build new skills, there was a wealth of advice, opportunities and support available.
“We would like to thank all 44 employers, training providers and partners who took part and helped make both events such a success.”
