A new hair and beauty salon on Lord Street in Southport is celebrating its first six months in business!
FenneeKay Hair, Tanning & Beauty – whose motto is ‘Love Your Hair Again’ – opened on 8th April this year, owned by local couple Chris Hesketh and Sarah Fenney.
The business is situated at 17 Lord Street, in the ‘Southern Quarter’, near to the Ribble Buildings, in the parade of shops between Kalash Divine Indian and Cleveland Cafe.
The business is named after Chris and Sarah’s parents.
Chris said: “We are having a little six month celebration this Saturday. I know it’s only six months but we are made up with the way things have been of late.
“Sarah and I have been hairdressing for 20 years now.
“This is our first salon together as a couple, and the name is after our late parents Clarence Fenney and Kathleen Dugan.
“We called it FenneeKay, Fenney and Kay, as people called my mum Kay.
“Sarah’s curly blow bar (Curly Sue’s), which is named after her mum, who is still with us, is coming soon on Friday nights, offering cocktails from Royales bar next door but one, along with a curly blow.”
