The Festive Fun Day returns to Southport town centre on Saturday 23rd November 2024 to start the Christmas season in style.
This year will be the biggest and best event yet, with a whole host of acts taking to the stage on Lord Street for a day of live performances, dancing, and Christmas entertainment.
Adding some sparkle to this year’s event will be media personality and television star Gemma Collins, who will be visiting Southport to spread some festive cheer.
Gemma is one of the nation’s most loved TV personalities. Since her rise to fame on The Only Way Is Essex, she has gone on to appear on many popular shows, including I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here, Celebrity Big Brother, and Dancing on Ice.
The Festive Fun Day will be a celebration of Southport’s young people and local performers, with no less than fourteen local dance groups set to entertain throughout the day. Visitors can expect a jam-packed day of live entertainment.
There will be bitesize pantomimes from the stars appearing in Sleeping Beauty at The Atkinson and Snow White at Southport Little Theatre.
Families will love the Frozen singalong and popstar princess show. Spiderman and The Grinch are also set to make an appearance, and those pesky StarKidz elves will be making mischief throughout.
Keep an eye out for more announcements over the coming weeks, with more special guests to be announced.
Festive fairground attractions will delight the crowds, and fun activities such as facepainting and creative workshops will prove to be popular attractions.
Local businesses will also be joining in the fun, with grottos, fairs, and events being planned across Southport centre.
The Fun Day performances will take place on Lord Street between 12pm and 6pm on Saturday 23rd November 2024.

The Festive Fun Day is being organised by Southport BID and Sefton Council.
Visitors to the event will also be able to enjoy Southport’s spectacular illuminations, which include the signature LED Christmas tree, The Boulevard of Light on Lord Street, and The Bear and The Reindeer characters.
