Free places at InvestSefton’s next Economic Forum and Growth Hub Marketplace at The Lake House, Crosby are disappearing quickly.

Open to local businesses, the free event on Thursday 8th December is filling up fast.

Guest speakers for next week’s event include Bank of England Deputy Agent Ken Clark and Robin Tudor, Head of PR at Liverpool John Lennon Airport.

Irina Shmakova, Export Academy – Department for International Trade, Geraldine Fuller, Business Engagement and Marketing Manager Business & IP Centre Liverpool City Region, and James Brayshaw, CEO of AdaptiveComms Group will also be speaking at the event.

Around 100 delegates usually attend Sefton Economic Forum events, which are relaxed and informal opportunities for networking and meeting other business owners, leaders, and support providers. The Growth Hub Marketplace usually features over 20 providers.

Following previous Economic Forum events feedback to InvestSefton about the events from delegates has highlighted how interesting they have found them and the high calibre of speakers.

Next week’s event, which starts at 9am, will cover a range of topics including a Bank of England economic update from Ken Clark. Irina Shmakova will talk about how the Export Academy is looking to support and increase the number of SME’s who export.

Robin Tudor will be sharing John Lennon Airport’s vision and plans while Geraldine Fuller will highlight what the Business & IP Centre can offer Sefton SMEs.

From a start in in a box bedroom, Southport-based James Brayshaw’s business now employs over 25 staff and provides IT, telecoms and web solutions to hundreds of UK businesses.
