Empire Restaurant on Nevill Street in Southport

I am a regular at Empire Restaurant in Southport – their Sunday Buffet is THAT good.
For £11.95 you can enjoy a real feast, helping yourself to a range of tasty Chinese dishes at this venue on Nevill Street in Southport town centre.
You can enjoy everything from a choice of two soups, to steamed siu mai, spare ribs and satay skewers, make-your-own duck pancakes with all the trimmings, several main courses, rice and noodles and finishing with a selection of “finger-food” style sweets including toffee apple and banana.
The choice is extensive.

This is not your average “eat-all-you-want” buffet – each item is well cooked and tasty. In fact it’s good restaurant standard – as if you were ordering it off their main menu.
You can also enjoy a fully stocked bar.
Service was friendly and efficient – your empty dishes are removed promptly.
It is consistently good food offering superb value for money.
Overall a really enjoyable experience from start to finish.
The venue is relatively large and can cater for larger groups towards the back.
PRO TIP: take your time, avoid stacking your plate with rice and chips and take a break between each course to gain maximum benefit from the wide choice of flavours on offer.
