The family of Cathy Doherty have paid tribute to a “fun loving, kind and considerate” woman who will be much missed.
The tribute was released by Merseyside Police on behalf of Cathy’s family after the 52-year-old was tragically found dead at a property in Meols Cop Road, Southport last Wednesday (26th February 2025).
Her family said: “We are all devastated by the loss of our sister Cathy.
“She was fun loving, kind and considerate.
“She will be greatly missed by all her family.
“Please can we ask that you respect our privacy at this traumatic time.”
Merseyside Police say this incident remains an unexplained death pending further enquiries. Two men arrested last week have been conditionally bailed.
