Families who love fish and fish by the seaside can enjoy a very special offer in Southport this autumn and winter.

Silcock’s Pier Family Restaurant is offering ‘eating in at takeaway prices’ so people can sit inside and enjoy Britain’s favourite dish whatever the weather.

The family-owned restaurant, on the Promenade in Southport, has its own licensed bar – The Balcony Bar – plus beautiful views looking out across the beautiful Kings Gardens.

There is plenty for families to enjoy nearby too, with attractions including Silcock’s Carousel, Silcock’s Funland, Masters Putting Green, the Kings Gardens adventure playground and more.

Visitors can also enjoy an autumn stroll through Kings Gardens and around the Marine Lake.

Silcock Leisure Group Operations Manager Serena Silcock-Prince said:

“Everyone loves fish and chips – whatever time of year it is!

“During the summer, lots of families come and visit us at Silcock’s Pier Family Restaurant and enjoy ordering takeaway fish & chips, which they love eating while walking along the Promenade, on a bench overlooking the Marine Lake, or taking them down to the seafront.

“But as the days gradually get a little colder and darker, we have now launched our offer for ‘eating in at takeaway prices’.

“The offer is open now, so perfect for anyone who’d love to call in this weekend, or throughout this autumn and winter.

“It will be perfect for families coming to enjoy all Southport has to offer this October Half Term, when our town will have lots to enjoy with the new Books Alive! Festival, the Jolly Postman Trail, and so much more besides.

“Silcock’s Pier Family Restaurant will be open during weekends, and is then open every single day throughout October Half Term, along with the Carousel.

“Silcock’s Funland remains open every day of the week throughout the year, except Christmas Day.

“Our full menu will be available, while you can also enjoy a drink or too from our fully licensed Balcony Bar.

“We look forward to seeing everyone for some delicious fish & chips at affordable prices in a welcoming and warm environment.”
