Excitement is growing as Queenscourt’s Summer Ball is set to return this August, for the first time in four years.

Queenscourt will be hosting its Ball on the evening of Saturday, 20th August in the grounds of Victoria Park during Southport Flower Show, following an absence due to the Covid pandemic.

Dianne Gillespie, Events Fundraiser at Queenscourt said: “This will be the first Queenscourt Ball since 2018, and we are very much looking forward to welcoming back supporters old and new for a fun night of celebrations.

“Tables of 10 are available priced at £650 per table, or £65 per person. All funds raised from the event will help Queenscourt Hospice to continue providing exceptional compassionate care for local people across West Lancashire, Southport and Formby, when they need us the most.

“It’s fantastic that we are able to host a Queenscourt Ball again this year, and at such an interesting venue.

“Our last Ball, which took place pre-pandemic, proved incredibly popular, with hundreds of guests having a great night out, whilst raising much-needed funds for our charity.

“This is going to be another enjoyable and memorable evening for Queenscourt, so please book early to avoid disappointment.”

The Black-Tie event includes fizz on arrival, a three-course meal presented by the talented chefs at D’Vine Catering, with entertainment by the fabulous Steve Charles with a guest appearance from singer songwriter, Astrid, 13, who rose to fame appearing on ITVs The Voice Kids at just eight years old.

Paul Crone from Granada Reports will be the excellent MC for the evening.
