Southport-based mobile bar company Elite Events, formerly known as Elite Bars, has been named National Wedding Mobile Bar of the Year 2026 at The Wedding Industry Awards.

Following their Second Regional Award win in November, the team went on to secure the national title, marking a major milestone for the growing events company and confirming their reputation as one of the UK’s leading wedding mobile bar providers.

Owner Mark Dilley said the recognition is a huge achievement for the entire Elite Events team, who consistently strive to deliver a high-end, professional service tailored to each couple’s special day.

Winning the national award follows an exceptional year for the business, during which Elite Events continued to expand its presence across the North West, with continued growth at Meols Hall and Orrell Hill Woods Wedding Venues.

Elite Events has also established partnerships with The CHET Centre (Crosby Hall Educational Trust) in Little Crosby and Casterton Grange, Exclusive Wedding Venue in the Lake District, further strengthening its portfolio of prestigious venues.

In addition to weddings, Elite Events caters for a wide range of private and corporate clients. Highlights from the past year include hosting Gymshark’s Christmas Party, Supplying bar services for Salt & Tar, Bootle for the second year running with stars such as Billy Ocean, Tom Jones, Red Rum Club, Ocean Colour Scene and Sugarbabes as well as providing bar services for the last 5 years at the Southport Comedy Festival, welcoming stars such as Ben Elton, Jason Manford, Henning Wehn, Jimeoin and Jo Caulfield.

The Southport-based company employs 15 permanent and part-time staff, supported by up to 65+ contractors at peak times.
