EFT Group in Southport has announced a boost to its leadership team with company founder Adam Watts taking on the role of Executive Chairman while Tim Jones joins as Chief Executive Officer.
It comes at an exciting time for the business, with EFT Group progressing its ambitious plans to relocate and expand into new purpose-built offices at Southport Business Park.

“Adam Watts is moving into the role of Executive Chairman of EFT Group, where he will focus on the long-term strategy, growth and development of the Group.
“We are also delighted to announce that Tim Jones MBA joins EFT Group as Chief Executive Officer.
“Tim has worked closely with the business over the past few years and already has a deep understanding of our teams, operations and ambitions.
“As CEO, Tim will lead the day-to-day executive leadership of the Group as we continue to grow.
“Alongside this, Shaun Ford steps into the role of Managing Director of EFT Systems, recognising the leadership he has already been demonstrating within the business.
“Stewart Meechan and Dan Hall will continue to lead EFT Construction and EFT Electrical respectively as Managing Directors, while Jordan Duggan continues in her role leading the EPA and Foundation, ensuring continuity and strength across the Group’s businesses.
“These changes strengthen the Group’s leadership as we continue to develop our businesses and support our customers, partners and communities across the UK.
“We’re excited about the journey ahead and look forward to building the next chapter of EFT Group together.”
As a company with long-standing roots in Sefton, founded in 1974, EFT Group is committed to supporting and uplifting the local community.
The family-run business, founded in 1974, consists of EFT Systems, EFT Construction and EFT Electrical, providing a unique partnership to build, protect and maintain clients’ property, life safety and security assets.
Last year the firm, which employs over 160 local people, announced ambitious plans to move from its long-time home at Cobden House, on Cobden Road, and expand into three brand new purpose-built units at Southport Business Park.

Last year the firm was crowned Sefton Business In The Community champion at the Grand Pride Of Sefton Awards while Group Director Jordan Duggan was a headline speaker at International Women’s Day in Southport in March.
