EFT Group in Southport has raised £25,000 for the CRADLE charity through a charity golf day.
The event was held at Houghwood Golf Club in St Helens on Friday 6th June 2025.
CRADLE is a national mental health charity, which started in Southport, providing support to anyone affected by the death of a baby during pregnancy, or termination of pregnancy.
Their goal is to prevent feelings of isolation and loneliness that can often follow a traumatic pregnancy experience and to build a community of support for those who are looking to connect with others who may have a shared experience.
CRADLE CEO Louise Zeniou said:
“On behalf of the CRADLE Trustees and team we would like to say a huge massive thank you to EFT GROUP for choosing CRADLE as their chosen charity and for putting on an incredible day for guests, players and sponsors.
“I was joined by my fellow trustee Tammy Marlowe. The day started with breakfast and networking followed by 18 holes, beat the Pro and a Putting Competition.
“Drinks snacks all day were provided by AAC Flat Roofing (thank you!) and holes were sponsored by so many companies.
“Drinks before a beautiful three course meal with evening entertainment were provided by Pete Emmett.
“Pete drew the raffle and hosted the auction and together – everyone involved in the day raised £25,000.
“We are incredibly grateful for the generosity of EFT GROUP and their guests and to everyone who donated prizes and auction items.
“Special thank you to Jordan Duggan, Leah Coxhead and Adele Meechan for the planning, detail and quality of the day – it was stunning from start to finish.
“The funds raised will fund our pregnancy loss counsellor led support groups and Comfort Bag Project across the NHS.
“Thank you, so so much.”
