A Queenscourt Hospice spokesperson said: “Our annual Star Trekk Sponsored Night Walk would not be possible without the continued support from our local community.

“EFT Group based in Southport is kindly sponsoring our iconic 10k night walk this year.

“EFT Group provides and maintains building infrastructure and assets that underpins public services and the lives of people in their homes or working environments across the UK.

“The company is celebrating their 50th anniversary this year and to celebrate they have created a fabulous window display to show their support.

“If you are interested in sponsoring any of our upcoming fundraising events, please get in touch with our friendly fundraising team via or call 01704 517420 and join us for the 18th Star Trekk Sponsored Night Walk on Friday 3rd May!”

Since Star Trekk began 18 years ago thousands of wonderful trekkers have raised over £1 million for Queenscourt Hospice.

The evening starts at Southport Pleasureland, on Marine Drive in Southport, with a fun party atmosphere where you can enjoy the pre Trekk entertainment, with the walk starting at 7.30pm.

The walk is a healthy, energising and fun event open to everyone. You can take part on your own, with family and friends, with your exercise class, with your work colleagues, with your school, the choice is yours.

Many trekkers walk in memory of a loved one or because Queenscourt has supported them personally, while others take part for a fun night out and to raise money for their local hospice.

Whether you are a brand new Trekker or you have been trekking before, Queenscourt looks forward to welcoming you for what promises to be a fun-filled evening.
