D'Vine Catering enjoys continued growth after cooking up a storm for royal visit

Growing North West hospitality firm D’Vine Catering is looking forward to an exciting year in 2024 – after cooking for royalty last year!

Giles Gottig and his team were delighted to cook for Princess Anne at the Battle of the Atlantic commemorations in Liverpool.

It was a task they thoroughly enjoyed but weren’t in the least phased by, as they continue to serve even more diners in even more venues across the North West.

D’Vine Catering, based in Southport, is once again getting all the ingredients right for a busy few months of events across Merseyside, Lancashire, Greater Manchester, Cheshire, the Lake District and beyond.

Among them will be the prestigious 100th anniversary Southport Flower Show, at Victoria Park in Southport, where D’Vine is preparing to serve over 3,000 guests – celebrities included – across four days.

The firm enjoyed a 22% growth in turnover last year as it further develops its burgeoning reputation for quality and reliability.

D’Vine CEO Giles Gottig said: “We are looking forward to another busy year this year!

“We are continuing to expand.

“We recently added Hurlston Hall in Scarisbrick, Lancashire, to our list of venues, we will be catering for all of their events.

“That is a contract which started this month, and we are delighted to have them on board.

“We are working with Hoghton Towers near Preston, another new contract for us.

“Another new venue that we took on last year has been Aviva Studios in Manchester, a spectacular building which has had millions of pounds spent on its transformation.

“We have completed a number of events there already, including one for a leading car manufacturer where we served 800 guests.

“We have expanded D’Vine Catering to the extent that we are now taking on a second executive chef along with a number of other positions.

“Business is up 22% on last year.

“We have lots of repeat business, which is always really pleasing to see, as well as lots of new work coming in.”

D’Vine Catering covers a number of North West venues, but is firmly rooted in its impressive home in Southport.

Giles said: “We continue to work from Southport and Birkdale Sports Club (S&B), on Trafalgar Road in Birkdale in Southport.

“This is a superb spot for us to be based, with excellent facilities, and always lots going on.

“We are excited to be providing the catering when Lancashire County Cricket returns to S&B this summer, it’s always a brilliant four days.

“They have other events happening too, including their popular S&Beer Fest in August, while we also host a lot of functions such as birthday parties, anniversaries, business events, Christenings, and funerals.

“We always have lots going on, which is exactly how we like it!”
