Connolly’s Irish pub unveils a week of St Patrick’s events with live music, food, football and Cheltenham Festival

Connolly’s Irish pub in Southport is getting ready for a week of non-stop entertainment – including its first ever annual St Patrick’s celebrations.

Connolly’s opened on King Street, opposite Southport Market, on 11th May last year, creating 15 new jobs. 

The venue is getting ready to welcome people for an unforgettable week between Tuesday 11th March 2025 and Monday 17th March 2025 when people can enjoy live Irish music, great food, the Cheltenham Festival, and the Carabao Cup Final between Liverpool and Newcastle. . 

Owner Jule Goodwin said: “Get ready for the ultimate celebration of St Patrick’s Week at Connolly’s! 

“We’ve got an action-packed weekend lined up with live music, delicious food, and the best atmosphere in town!

Friday 14th March 2025 

5.30pm-7.30pm – Keith on the live music line up on Friday 14th 

8.30pm – The Hoolygans kick things off with their high-energy performance!

Saturday 15th March 2025

1pm-2.30pm – Sing along with George – your favorite tunes

3pm-5pm – The one and only Carl – don’t miss it

6pm-8pm – Michael Malone brings the vibes

8.30pm – The Shelby’s – an incredible band you won’t want to miss

Sunday 16th March 2025 

2pm-4pm – Martin White gets you pumped up for the Carabao Cup Final with all your favorite anthems

4.30pm – Carabao Cup Final Liverpool v Newcastle 

12pm-6pm – Legendary Connolly’s Sunday Roast – it’s the talk of the town!

Monday 17th March 2025 (St Patrick’s Day) 

2pm-4pm – The Crew – wrapping up the week with an unforgettable performance
