Connell Court Care Home in Southport was filled with joy and Easter cheer as residents enjoyed a heartwarming celebration over the weekend.
In a lovely collaboration with Marshside Primary School, local children got creative decorating vibrant Easter egg pictures, which now brighten the home’s hallways and bring smiles to everyone who passes by.
A Connell Court spokesperson said: “The much-loved annual Easter Bonnet competition did not disappoint, with residents showcasing their impressive handmade bonnets — full of charm, colour, and creativity, with an all male winners line up! The festive spirit was alive with plenty of laughter, artistic flair, and of course, delicious chocolate treats.
“We’re also thrilled to share that our Easter raffle was a wonderful success, raising £332!
“A huge thank you to everyone who contributed and helped make this Easter so special for our residents.”
