Six of the world’s top comedians are heading to Southport this July!
John Bishop, Katherine Ryan, Jason Manford, Paul Chowdhry, Al Murray and host Judi Love will all be on stage at the brand new Comedy In The Park event at Victoria Park in Southport on Saturday 17 July.
The event had been announced last year. Organisers have recently been buoyed by seeing the rapid rise in Covid-19 vaccinations and the steady fall in Coronavirus cases in the UK.
As park of his ‘roadmap out of lockdown’, Prime Minister Boris Johnson recently announced that all limits on social contact and restrictions on large events and performances are due to be removed by 21 June, all being well.
This means that the Comedy In The Park event in Southport should be able to go ahead as scheduled.
A Comedy In The Park spokesperson said: “Based on the recent government announcement, we are delighted to inform you that the Comedy In The Park event in Southport WILL be going ahead as scheduled!
“This makes now the perfect time to purchase your tickets for this incredible event.
