People are invited to banish those winter blues as the fun Comedy Bingo Winter Social returns to Southport Market for the first time since Christmas!
Come along; have a great time; and be in with the chance of winning some exciting prizes at the Market this Wednesday (29th January 2025).
Doors open at 1pm for an event, organised by Big Comedy UK and sponsored by Halliwell Jones MINI, that runs between 1.30pm and 3.30pm.
Admission is just £3 each, which includes a free drink and bingo books.
The events will take place every fortnight with the aim of tackling social isolation in the local community.
Event organiser Brendan Riley said: “We can’t wait to welcome everyone back to our first Comedy Bingo Winter Social since Christmas!
“It’s time to banish those January blues, come out and have a great time at a fun and welcoming gathering.
“We always have a lovely mix of regulars and new faces at Southport Market. If you’ve not been before, come and discover what you’ve been missing!
“Comedy Bingo Winter Socials cost just £3 each, which include all your bingo books as well as a free drink. It’s a great-value time out.
“People shouldn’t be on their own this winter. We want to tackle isolation at a social gathering that welcomes parents, pensioners, people who just want to put a smile on their face – while also being in the chance to win some fantastic prizes!
“We’d like to thank local businesses who have donated prizes for us including Crystal Clear Opticians, The Atkinson, Southport Market, Southport Flower Show, Vue Cinema, FenneeKay Hair & Beauty, Tesco, Tapper’s Cafe and others.

Tickets cost £3 each and include all the bingo cards you need, in addition to a free cup of tea, cup of coffee, glass of wine or glass of lager.
