Southport artist Clare Wright is among people looking forward to another spectacular day of the new Lightport event in Southport!
The brand new event, which features a series of light and sound installations along Lord Street, was enjoyed by thousands of visitors last night (Saturday) with more expected to flock into Southport 5pm-9pm tonight (Sunday) and on Monday.
This Sunday afternoon (4pm-7pm) there will be even more for families to enjoy as the Northern Quarter of Southport comes alive with the free Rainbow Wonderland event at The Grand.
Other nearby venues will also be packed with people enjoying live music at Punch Tarmey’s, children’s activities and movies at Lord Street Hotel, plus takeaway food and free popcorn at Maverick’s.

“It is so exciting to see these amazing new events happening along Lord Street and bringing people into Southport from across the North West.

“Southport is going to be busy once again and we’d love to welcome anyone who’d like to pop in.
