Churcher Estates is among the headline sponsors of the 2026 International Women’s Day event in Southport, which is raising funds for Queenscourt Hospice.

After Churcher Estates enjoyed huge success across Ormskirk, Burscough, Mawdesley and Rufford, they brought their award-winning, family-run agency to Southport with the opening of a new office on Anchor Street in January.

Owners James and Jemma Churcher said:

“We’re proud to support International Women’s Day and delighted to support Queenscourt Hospice, a fantastic local charity which does such amazing things in our community.

“We have a couple of members of our team who have had family members cared for at Queenscourt – we know all about the exceptional levels of care our local hospice provides to families across West Lancashire, Southport and Formby.

“We are lucky to have them and are grateful for everything they do.

“Queenscourt Hospice has to rely on public fundraising for 80% of its income so it is important that we all do all we can to support them.

“Churcher Estates is honoured to support International Women’s Day. It is a great event to get behind.

“There are 11 of us in our team, nine of whom are female.

“There are many reasons for us supporting this magnificent event.

“As a local, family-run business,  we believe in getting involved in our local community, and doing all we can to make a difference.”

Queenscourt Hospice Fundraising Manager Liz Hartley said:

“Churcher Estates are proud supporters of our community and share our commitment to making a positive difference locally.

“Their support helps us deliver a meaningful International Women’s Day event while raising vital funds for Queenscourt Hospice.

“We’re incredibly grateful to Churcher Estates for supporting this year’s celebration and helping us bring our Give to Gain theme to life – showing how generosity and collaboration can create real impact.”

Alongside inspirational speakers, the Queenscourt Hospice’s International Women’s Day event at The Grand on Lord Street in Southport will feature live entertainment and a two-course lunch.

It will be hosted by John Coatses with music from Heather Gomersall.
