Two teachers from Christ the King Catholic High School in Birkdale in Southport are taking part in a sponsored run this May to raise money for Queenscourt Hospice and Southport Foodbank.

On Thursday 16th May 2024, Mr Oliver and Mrs Durkin are running a two-part relay from Christ The King Catholic Cathedral in Liverpool back to Christ The King Catholic High School in Southport.

To sponsor them please visit their JusGiving page here: https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/CTK2CTK

Both runners will complete 9.5 miles and they will be joined by pupils from Christ the King School for the last mile of the run.

The money raised from the event will be split evenly between the school house charities, Queenscourt Hospice and Southport Foodbank, both chosen by pupils.

Donations can be made on their JustGiving page here.

Alternatively you can go onto the Just Giving Page and type in CTK2CTK.

A Christ the King Catholic High School spokesperson said: “Please help us to raise as much money as possible for these worthy charities.

“Any donation is much appreciated and will help so many families in our local community.

“They are currently up to £735.”
