People can win some superb prizes while raising money for people fleeing the war in Ukraine.
Southport Whisky Club has sourced some unique prizes for its Charity Raffle for Ukrainian Refugees, and is encouraging people to buy tickets.
Southport Whisky founder Victor Porter said: “It is about people being generous with donating prizes and buying tickets to raise cash to help people whose lives have been thrown into turmoil, are frightened and have nothing left.
“Marcin Schilling, our favourite Sherry knight lives 40km away from the Ukrainian border in Poland. He is helping Ukrainian refugees where he can.
“He is housing some in his home and the local church.
“People are coming over the border with next to nothing. Marcin is sourcing basics like toothpaste, clothes, food etc.
All the money raised from the raffle will go straight to Marcin to support Ukrainian refugees at the Polish border.”
