Southport BID feature by Stand Up For Southport
CBBC stars Andy And The Odd Socks will kick off a day of live music in the Coastal Jam festival in Southport this Sunday (14th September 2025).
The two-day event opened on Saturday with performers on Market Street.
Get ready for the main event with an impressive stage now set up in the Town Hall Gardens on Lord Street.
The Atkinson will also be opening specially for the day, with a range of family activities.
Look out too for some festival fringe events with live music on offer in several local venues.
It’s another busy day for Southport with other events taking place including Southport Heritage Open Days while the 24 Hour Yacht Race on the Marine Lake is due to finish at West Lancashire Yacht Club at midday.
Coastal Jam is a free two-day festival of music and family fun, featuring live music on outdoor stages and a range of activities for all ages. It’s organised by Southport BID and Sefton Council.

Beside the stage, you’ll find kids activities including a glitter bar and facepainting, with all proceeds going to local charity Compassion Acts.
