Southport Flower Show is excited to introduce a brand-new feature for 2026 – the Buskers Corner Stage – proudly supported by Moonlight Events.
They’re on the lookout for talented local musicians to perform across this year’s show at Victoria Park and help bring even more atmosphere and live music to the event.
The Southport Flower Show attracts around 55,000 visitors across four days and is one of the best attended paid events in the Liverpool City Region.
Whether you’re a singer, guitarist, or duo, this is your opportunity to showcase your talent in front of thousands of visitors at the UK’s largest independent flower show.
It’s designed as an opportunity for aspiring artists, emerging performers and those still building their repertoire to dip their toe into performing in front of a live audience.

Moonlight Events, which is based in Southport. has chosen to support The Buskers Corner as the next generation of talent is something they are hugely passionate about – both behind the scenes within the industry and of course the performers themselves.
Scott Mackin the Production Manager at Moonlight Events said:
“We’re very delighted to be supporting Buskers Corner at this year’s Southport Flower Show!
“It’s a brand new initiative which will add something new and exciting to the event.
“It’s an idea that Southport Flower Show General Manager Alan Adams had and when we spoke with him about it, it seemed like the perfect thing to become involved with.
“As a Southport business which is very invested in our local community, we are eager to provide a platform for emerging local talent to come and show what you can do at this major event.
“The location will be near the main entrance, near the Southport Flower Show office, so it’s a brilliant opportunity to show what you can do.
“We have had some very talented people sign up already, and we have spaces for more. You might be someone who loves singing and is looking for an opportunity; you might be someone who is busking or performing already.
“Southport Flower Show is far more than a flower show. It’s also famous for its packed programme of entertainment and live music, with some great acts performing across the four days from bands, to choirs, and many more.
“Buskers Corner is different – it’s relatively low-key. It could be you singing, or you playing a guitar, it’s all about giving an opportunity to talented local musicians and offering an experience you’ll never forget.”

Scott Mackin, 23, is one of the North West’s most successful young business leaders, with Moonlight Events transforming spaces across the UK with expert lighting, sound, staging, and event infrastructure.
This is the fifth year Moonlight Events has provided its services for Southport Flower Show, having also supported other major local events such as Southport Food and Drink Festival.
This year’s Southport Flower Show, sponsored by Ramsay Health Care, will take place at Victoria Park in Southport from Thursday 20th to Sunday 23rd August 2026.
Visitors can look forward to inspirational show gardens, spectacular floral displays, impressive amateur grower exhibits, live entertainment, music, and so much more — making it a fantastic day out for all ages.
