Calling all Southport creatives!!

We’re growing something exciting in Southport and would love more local creatives to be part of it.

Southport Creatives is a community for people working in or passionate about the visual arts in Southport. It’s a space to connect, share ideas, discuss opportunities, support one another and help shape the future of our local creative scene.

A huge thank you to everyone who came to our first meet-up. The turnout was incredible, and it was genuinely inspiring to see so many artists, makers, designers, photographers and creative people in one room, all passionate about the future of arts in our town.

Our next meet-up will take place on Thursday 23rd July, 6pm to 8pm at Southport Market.

This one will be slightly different from the last event. Rather than a social gathering, it will be a more structured forum, giving us the chance to discuss key topics raised by attendees at our first meet-up and explore how we can move ideas forward together.

We’re also incredibly grateful to Southport Market, who have very kindly offered to support this community by providing us with free use of their back room so we have a dedicated space to meet and collaborate.

Whether you’re a professional artist, hobbyist, student, creative business owner, gallery worker, illustrator, maker or simply someone passionate about visual arts in Southport, you are very welcome.

If this sounds like something you’d like to be part of, please join our Southport Creatives Facebook group for updates, future events and ongoing discussion.

Please share with anyone in the local creative community who might be interested. We’re hoping to build a thriving, supportive creative network in Southport, and every voice matters.
