David is a proud Sandgrounder and the founder of Secret Sand Land who has been interested in local history since childhood.

For the past few years he has been researching the history of Southport, and what existed before, and he aims to present well researched and new material via regular blogs, books, walks, talks & podcasts! Plus daily snippets via my twitter feed and new Facebook page, uncovering previously unknown facts along the way.
