Queenscourt Hospice is taking part in the Big Give Christmas Challenge to raise £80,000 in just one week to help care for more patients in the comfort of their own home, when this is their preferred place of care.
During The Big Give Christmas Challenge week from noon 2nd to noon 9th December 2025, donations to the Queenscourt Big Give campaign, ‘Home is where the heart is’ will be generously doubled by Pledge Funders, leasecar.uk and Angela, and Big Give Champion Funder, The Reed Foundation.
Every donation made via the link www.queenscourt.org.uk/biggive during this special week in December will be doubled, giving Queenscourt the chance to raise £80,000 for their Queenscourt at Home service.
The funds will be used to care for more patients in the comfort of their own home, when this is their preferred place of care.
With more patients wanting to stay at home to receive Specialist Palliative Care throughout their life-limiting illness and at end-of-life, Queenscourt needs to ensure they have the specialist support necessary to keep patients at home, when this is their preference. Doctors, Therapists and Queenscourt at Home Healthcare Professionals provide free Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Breathlessness Courses, and home visits for symptom management, all to help patients spend their final days at home.
Any donation, however big or small, will make double the difference to the Queenscourt at Home team.
