A new networking group with added social value is launching in Southport this September.
Southport Life will host its first meeting at the Waterfront Southport Hotel on the Promenade in Southport from 9.30am on Thursday 4th September 2025.

Southport Life is a free, monthly meet-up designed to bring together local residents, businesses, charities, and community leaders to connect, collaborate, and create positive change in our town.
What to expect:
- Friendly, informal networking
- Inspiring guest speakers
- Real conversations and fresh connections
- A platform to share what you do and support others
The Southport Life networking events are being created by Lizzie Barnett, owner of Studio Nine and Southport’s Journey, and Serena Silcock-Prince, Operations Manager for Silcock Leisure Group.
They said: This isn’t just networking — it’s networking with social value.
“Southport Life is a free monthly meet-up bringing together local residents, businesses, charities, and community leaders to connect, collaborate, and create positive change in our town.
“What makes this group different is that each quarter, organisers invite you to get involved in a community action project — from painting public spaces to helping clean up neglected areas, volunteering time rather than money.
“It’s about giving back, together.
