The famous Croziers sandwich and coffee shop in Southport has revealed plans to expand.
The business, on Liverpool Road in the heart of Birkdale Village, is adding the adjacent unit formerly occupied by The Brides Room.
The small family-run coffee shop and takeaway, which also provides an outside catering service, was originally established in the 1870s in Lytham before deciding to open back up in Birkdale Village in 2014.
A Croziers spokesperson said: “We’re thrilled to announce our expansion project, fulfilling our dream of a bigger space to welcome and serve our incredible customers.
“From our humble beginnings to this exciting milestone, your unwavering support and choosing to support small businesses like ours have made all the difference. We’re forever grateful for each and every one of you.
“And a heartfelt thank you to our amazing staff team at Croziers! Without their dedication, hard work, and unwavering support, none of this would be possible. They’ve been the backbone of our journey, and we’re incredibly fortunate to have such a talented and passionate team by our side. From the pouring rain to the sunny days, their commitment has never wavered. We owe them a debt of gratitude.
“As we renovate our new building, we ask for your patience, but we promise it will be worth the wait. Soon, we’ll be able to provide the full Croziers experience, rain or shine. Thank you for being with us on this incredible journey.”
Croziers serves specialty coffee from Cumbria’s finest roasters, Carvetti.
Customers can pop in for a hearty breakfast or brunch. And if they’re feeling extra naughty they can also have some of their famous cake.
Outside seating is available or you can take away.
