Southport Market has lots of fun events for people to enjoy this Easter!
Activities include Easter Extravaganzas, an Easter Slime Workshop, live music with Kelly Bond, and a Spring Artisan Market.
The Market’s food stalls will be serving food from around the world while the central bar will be selling hot and cold drinks for you to enjoy, while Blackhurst’s Butchers will also be open.
Here’s what you can enjoy this Easter:
Easter Extravaganza
Good Friday and Easter Saturday 7th and 8th April
11am – 4pm (Last entry 3pm)
Hop over to the Southport Market’s Easter Extravaganza!
Tickets are £5 for children with mums and dads FREE.
Once in the Extravaganza all activities are FREE.
The Extravaganza room will be dressed in a spring village theme with bunting, flowers and wooden barrels!
There will be a few independent stalls selling Easter themed goods and don’t forget the Market is home to 11 food stalls and a central carousel themed bar to enjoy at the event!
Included in the ticket is live entertainment with an interactive and fun ‘Gloria & The Easter Bunny’ hourly show, an Easter craft corner, face painter, selfie area with Easter props and perhaps a surprise visit from the Easter bunny!
Easter Slime Workshop
Wednesday 12th April 2023
Come along and create your favourite slime with Pebbles & Treasures at Southport Market.
The 45 minute session will see the children mixing, kneading and colouring their awesome slime creation and they can add glitter and other extras to make it truly unique… just like them!
Once the slime is made, there will be a chance at the end to play with the slime, blowing bubbles and seeing the super stretchy patterns they can make.
Due to the nature of the process, while the session is suitable for all ages, younger children will need the assistance of their parent / carer, and although all aprons and gloves are provided, organisers do recommend ensuring your child in dressed appropriately.
Parents are required to stay with their child during the session.
Kelly Bond Live Music
Thursday April 13th 2023 – 6.30pm – 8pm
Covering music from Soul, Live Lounge, and Acoustic to Modern Pop, R&B and Rock.
Kelly is a well-known favourite around the town and sings a wide and versatile range of songs suitable for all age groups!
