Las Vegas is coming to Southport for one night only this summer!
Vegas In The Park will take place at Victoria Park in Southport on Saturday, 18th June.
It will feature: Tina Turner and Elvis Presley tribute singers; three-course meal; fun casino; a stylish fashion show; dancers; DJ; Instagram Vegas wall; huge bar; charity auction; dancefloor; stunning marquee; and more.
Funds raised will go towards two superb local charities – the Isla Rose Foundation and Southport Soup Kitchen.
The event is being put together by North West Marquee Hire, Southport TV and The Props Emporium.
Co-organiser Mark Pickup said: “This spectacular evening will support two fantastic local charities at a bespoke event never run here before!
“Get your glitz on and your good luck charms at the ready for a jam-packed evening that will be leaving holes in your dancing shoes by the end of the night!
“Begin the evening by stepping into a star-lit marquee that makes the Vegas lights come to you – in the park!
“Waltz in wearing your best glam and sample the welcome canapes; get your best pose on at the Instagram-worthy Vegas backdrops setting the scene of a super special event.
“Be seated at your table where you will be served a fantastic three course meal. Soak up the atmosphere and watch the fashion show presented by Southport’s very own Coco Boutique, while sipping away on your favourite tipple at the fully stocked and loaded bar!
“Paddles at the ready? It’s for charity after all! Get ready to battle at the auction supporting the two fantastic charities this event is in aid of, first up is the Isla Rose Foundation. This foundation has been formed by those who love and care for a lovely little girl from Southport called Isla Rose who was diagnosed with a rare genetic condition called Non-ketotic hyperglycinemia (NKH). The charity makes an impact on children diagnosed with NHK by raising funds to aid in research and gene therapy of the disease.
“The other local charity this event is supporting is Southport Soup Kitchen – a fantastic community of dedicated volunteers who offer support to the local community in ways of providing hot meals, food parcels and daily essentials. Established for 19 years this charity is enhancing the lives of everyone it helps. Attending this event and taking part helps that community to thrive and keep your community thriving too, so raise your paddles high and lets help these charities!
