Sandgrounder Radio and Ocean Plaza in Southport have together launched their Easter Egg Appeal for 2022.
Having worked together in previous years on the appeal, this year it’s hoped to be the biggest and best yet.
From now until Sunday 10th April, donations of chocolate Easter eggs can be dropped off at the handy points in Southport such as Poundstretcher, Everlast Gym, Matalan and Vue Cinema, all based at Ocean Plaza on the seafront.
There are also drop-off points at both Morrisons and Asda in Southport.
Sandgrounder Radio’s Content Director, Andy Hilbert, said: “This is always a yearly highlight for us, collecting the many Easter eggs donated to the appeal and then delivering them to Alder Hey. Last year’s appeal received over a thousand eggs and it would be amazing to do the same again.
“We’ve always had amazing support from Tracey and the team at Ocean Plaza and we very much enjoy working together on this very special appeal.”
