Ocean Plaza in Southport is enjoying being busy again!

The venue is celebrating English Tourism Week (22st May – 31rd May 2021) by welcoming customers back to venues including: Vue Cinema, Playtown soft play centre, Tenpin Bowling and others. They were allowed to reopen last week thanks to the latest easing of Covid lockdown restrictions.

People have also been able to enjoy a cheeky visit to Nando’s, sitting inside there and other restaurants such as: Roberto’s, Pizza Hut, and McDonald’s, while the Café at Dunelm is now open again too.

Film lovers have missed their regular visits to Vue Cinema during the long months of the Covid lockdown.

Now they can enjoy some big movies over the coming weeks, including: Cruella, Fast & Furious 9, The Croods 2, Jungle Cruise, Shang Chi & the legend of the ten rings, No Time to Die, The Eternals and Top Gun: Maverick.

A Vue Cinema Southport spokesperson said: “Everything is back to normal and we are excited to see so many familiar faces to return and welcome new people to our site, as we want to give them that cinema feeling back that everybody has been missing.

“Get Ready to sit Back, switch off, stay safe!”

People can even book online and experience a contactless visit, with Vue Cinema Southport opening 15 minutes before the first viewing of the day.
