Merseyside Police is warning people to beware neo-Nazi posters in Merseyside which may have razor blades underneath designed to injure anyone who tries to remove them.
Police say the posters are being put up by a group which has already posted in places including Southport and Liverpool.
A statement said: “An anonymous far-right neo-Nazi group called the Hundreds Handers Group has warned the British Army that it has begun a national propaganda campaign and is hiding razor blades beneath its posters to injure anybody who tries to remove them.
“It suggests they are putting up far-right posters and also anti-coronavirus restriction stickers which display racist messages such as ‘mass immigration is white genocide’ and Nazi phrases such as ‘blood and soil’.”
If anyone does spot any posters please alert Merseyside Police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
