These are the people charged with driving forward the £25million regeneration of Southport.
The Town Deal board recognises that £25million on its own won’t fix every problem in our town.
But the hope is that if the money is spent wisely then it will boost confidence in Southport’s future prosperity and attract further investment.
The Southport Town Deal Board was established in January 2020, according to guidance set out in the Town Funds Prospectus.
A principal purpose of the Town Deal Board is to oversee the process and preparation of the Town Investment Plan.
Southport Town Deal Board comprises a number of representatives from the local community including Southport MP Damien Moore, officers and members of Sefton Council, local business owners, and representatives of local education and health organisations.
Southport Town Deal Board meets on a monthly basis.
