Comedy Bingo Winter Socials with Belong Birkdale are back with two events, starting today, with Southport Artisan Market bringing over 50 artisan stalls, live music, kids crafts and more this Saturday.
The following day is one of the busiest in Southport’s calendar with the big Southport Christmas Spectacular, organised by Southport BID, taking place in the nearby Bandstand Gardens; in Southport Market that day you’ll find all the usual food and drink outlets open, with Mr Tumble & Friends – Disney edition in the Extravaganza Room during the day followed by Soulferno in the evening!

For just £4 plus booking fee, you’ll receive your choice of tea, coffee or a soft drink, or enjoy a glass of wine or beer from the bar.

Southport Market is pleased to be working in collaboration with Independent Street to bring an exciting new addition to the town in 2026 – the Southport Artisan Market.
Launching on the first Saturday of every month from March 2026, the Artisan Market will be hosted across Southport Market Hall and Market Street, supporting and celebrating the region’s talented independent makers and producers.
Each month, just under 70 small independent businesses will showcase their work, featuring the very best in award‑winning local food, fresh produce, arts and crafts, and vintage wares. Visitors can also enjoy live music and free children’s craft activities, making it a lively and welcoming experience for all ages.

4 – Southport Christmas Spectacular

Bandstand Gardens, Lord Street, Southport
The festive season is coming, with families invited to enjoy this year’s Southport Christmas Spectacular!
This vibrant annual event, organised by Southport BID, takes place between 11am and 4pm on Saturday 14th November 2026.
Visitors will be able to enjoy live entertainment at the Lord Street Bandstand alongside a line-up of festive activities outside The Vincent Hotel, highlighted by photo opportunities with some famous film and TV characters.
Packed with family entertainment to enjoy throughout the day, the fun Christmas event is free to attend and open to everyone.
While you’re in town enjoying the Christmas festivities, Southport Market will be open throughout the day and evening, with all the local independent food and drink venues open for families to enjoy, and two special events taking place in the Extravaganza Room (details below).
All the local independent businesses in the Market Quarter will be open too.
