UK kitchen retailer, Wren Kitchens & Bedrooms, has officially opened its new showroom at Kew Retail Park in Southport.
The 5,000 sq. ft showroom has created 14 new jobs locally and becomes Wren’s 126th UK showroom, bringing the business’s kitchen, bedroom and living space design expertise to Southport for the first time.
To mark the occasion, the Mayor of Sefton, Councillor Jennifer Corcoran, officially opened the showroom. As part of the celebrations, Wren presented a £1,000 donation in support of the Mayor’s chosen charities: Southport Dramatic Club, Bebe’s Hive, The Jacob Billington Trust and Plaza Community Cinema.
It is a further boost for Kew Retail Park, which saw the opening of a new 30,355 sq ft Wickes store in October, followed by a new 5,000 sq ft North West Air Ambulance charity superstore in November.
Planning permission has also been granted for a new 24-hour Wendy’s restaurant and drive-thru, creating up to 40 new jobs.
The Wren showroom features 19 kitchen displays and 12 bedroom displays, showcasing a wide variety of styles, colours and finishes to suit every home and budget. Customers can also browse fitted home office and media wall displays, alongside an extensive range of worktops, handles, flooring, sinks and taps.
Wren’s expert designers are on hand to provide free personalised designs and no-obligation quotes, helping homeowners plan everything from kitchens and bedrooms to fitted furniture throughout the home. Seven virtual reality planning suites also allow customers to experience their design in immersive 3D before making any final decisions.
Michael Smith, Showroom Manager at Wren Southport, said:
“We’re delighted to officially open our showroom and become part of the local community. It was fantastic to welcome the Mayor to mark the occasion, and we can’t wait to help customers bring their ideas to life with expert design advice and the latest kitchen and bedroom collections.”
The showroom officially opened on Wednesday 22nd July, with customers already making the most of Wren’s latest offers across fitted kitchens, bedrooms and living spaces.
