The Wizard Of Oz pantomime is coming to The Atkinson in Southport on December 18-31

The Wizard Of Oz pantomime is coming to Southport this Christmas!

The Atkinson, on Lord Street, can’t wait to pull up the curtain and welcome you back into their traditional theatre between December 18 and December 31.

Behind the scenes, the arts centre in Southport has been working hard to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all, receiving the Society of London Theatre & UK Theatre’s See It Safely mark.

LHK Productions is one of the most acclaimed theatre and pantomime production companies in the UK and promises a spellbinding experience with a professional cast, lavish sets and exquisite costumes.

Follow the yellow brick road to The Atkinson this festive season, where LHK Productions will whisk you over the rainbow in their wizardly wicked Christmas pantomime, The Wizard of Oz.

Appearing larger than life in virtual reality, the multi-talented musician, Dancing on Ice and Hollyoaks star Ray Quinn as the magical Wizard of Oz.

The fabulous cast also includes the voice of the airwaves, Southport’s own Claire Simmo from BBC Radio Merseyside & Sandgrounder Radio as Glinda The Good Witch, West End star Chris Barton as the Cowardly Lion, the hilarious Lewis Pryor as Scarecrow, the loveable Mia Molloy as Dorothy, Southport’s Tom Burroughs as Tinman and everyone’s favourite dame Michael Chapman as The Wicked Witch.

This classic tale will be wonderfully reimagined on stage in LHK’s sensational panto production based on L. Frank Baum’s beloved children’s book.

Embark on an adventure with Dorothy and Toto as they travel through Munchkin Land to the Emerald City with their new friends Scarecrow, Tinman and Lion to meet the magical Wizard of Oz.

Complete with catchy songs and stunning choreography, there’s no place like The Atkinson for festive family entertainment. Click your heels together & book your Christmas panto tickets NOW!
