Urban Flowers & Gifts is closing its shop on Manchester Road in Southport as it concentrates on providing its services online.
The local independent business has gained a large local following in recent years due to its stunning window displays and beautiful fresh flowers by owner Jackie.
Urban Flowers creates traditional or modern bouquets, beautiful hand ties or any arrangements for any occasion.
In a post online, Jackie said: “To my lovely customers. Firstly I’d like to thank you for your custom over the last nine years, I have made some wonderful friendships and enjoyed all of your chats.
“I have joined you in some sad times but also many happy times.
“Due to recent family bereavement of my much loved Mum, I have decided to reshape my business and work from my studio at home.
“This will mean I have a little more flexibility but more quality time to enjoy the ‘dream’ I have created which is urban flowers.
“Although the shop will be a different florist’s, my business will continue to grow and I am only a phone call and a website away.
“Lots of love, Jackie, Urban Flowers.”
