Mikhail Hotel And Leisure Group Cluster Manager James Bretnall-Bennett said:
“We have been working hard to create these brand new menus over the past two months and are very excited to be launching them this Friday!
“It has taken a lot of hard work, but we are confident we are offering fantastic food throughout the day and into the evening that will suit all tastes through our traditional brasserie menus.
“The dishes are all classics that use fresh ingredients and are cooked extremely well by our very talented team.
“We have worked hard to be inclusive and cater for all our diners, so we have a Gluten Free Menu that is packed full of choice and flavour.
“We have an Allergens section on our website so people can check out what is in each and every dish before they arrive.

“We are really proud of our Sunday Roast menu, and I honestly believe our Sunday roast dinners are going to be the very best in Southport. I expect The Grand Brasserie will be very busy on Sundays.
“We have an incredible drinks menu that includes 10 brand new signature cocktails, which have all been created in-house with care and imagination.
“We have a wide selection of mocktails that are out of this world.
“People can sit back in beautiful surroundings and enjoy some of the best food and drink around.
“Our popular Harry’s Bar with its sunny roof terrace will also reopen in time for Easter, from Friday 27th March onwards. It will open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sunday evenings, with great live music, and DJs every Saturday.
“From Wednesday (25th March 2026) we will extend our opening hours at The Grand Southport, opening from Wednesday to Sunday.
“As we come up towards the Easter holidays, lighter nights and warmer weather we want to welcome people to come in and try our brand new menus. You won’t be disappointed!”
Overseeing the changes to the menus has been Head Chef Lee Hibberd, who joined the team a month ago.
He has spent 20 years working in kitchens across the UK, working with Marco Pierre White in Norfolk, as well as cooking in Guernsey, the Lake District and elsewhere.
He brings a wealth of culinary experience into the kitchen.
The Grand Southport Head Chef Lee Hibberd said:
“The Grand Southport is such a beautiful, impressive venue!
“We have created our new menus very much with the setting in mind.
“When you come into The Grand you want to be able to enjoy the experience with fantastic brasserie style food that is seasonal, fresh and well cooked.
“We have a real choice with special dishes such a fillet steak, lobster and seabass; some superb fish and seafood, fitting for a seaside town like Southport; lots of inclusive choices for diners who are Gluten Free, dairy free, vegetarian or vegan; and lots more besides.
“We have some tasty dishes perfect for daytime such as club sandwiches, steak sandwiches, salads. There is a real variety of food available.
“Our menus are very seasonal so we will be changing them every three months, tailored to the best local ingredients we have available.
