A brand new bar is opening in Ainsdale Village in Southport this Friday (11th June) from 4pm.

The Golden Monkey is opening at 104 Station Road, next door to the iconic Grayson’s family bakers.

The new business promises a warm welcome and a cozy atmosphere with cask ales, draught beers, cocktails, gins, coffee, cakes and snacks.

The venue is also dog friendly, and has disabled facilities.

The Golden Monkey was converted from a former dental laboratory into a new wine bar, creating five new jobs.

A planning application was submitted to Sefton Council to convert Denture Solutions at 104 Station Road in Ainsdale into a wine bar with an outside seating area.

Applicant Susan Upton has been keen to bring the vacant premises back into use.

The new business is creating three new full time jobs and two new part time jobs.

The premises will open between 10.30am and 11.30pm each day, including bank holidays and Sundays.
