The Bold in Southport town centre has unveiled its brand new menu ready for a scorching summer – including the ultimate sharing steak experience!
The Bold, on Lord Street, has already developed its reputation as the home of ”the best carvery in Southport”.
Head Chef Lee Whittaker-Locke and his team have now worked hard behind the scenes to revamp their main menu and breakfast menu too, with a perfect combination of comforting pub classics, plus some exciting new twists.

Among the most exciting items featured is the incredible 18oz Tomahawk Steak for two, which is sourced from a local butcher and must be ordered at least 24 hours in advance.

18oz Tomahawk Steak; Chunky Chips; Grilled Mushrooms; Grilled Tomato; Onion Rings; Choice of Sauce; all for £39.95.
It is among items on the brand-new menu which is packed with delicious dishes perfect for every occasion.
Lee and his team of chefs have been perfecting menus bursting with exciting new flavours, fresh seasonal dishes and all your favourite classics.

Lee said: “Our new menus have been designed very much with summer in mind!
“The Bold has always been famous as being home of the best carvery in Southport, and that’s something we’re extremely proud of – and something which we’ll continue to offer to a very high standard, for fantastic value.
“Our is 100% the best carvery in Southport. It’s something our customers come back for time and time again.
“On Sundays in particular we’re particularly busy, as everyone locally knows that The Bold is the place to come for your Sunday roast carvery!
“Over the past few weeks we have been redeveloping our Main Menu and Breakfast Menu as well to complement our carvery offer.
“We create and cook using the very best fresh and seasonal ingredients.
“We have a very strong kitchen team here which allows us to serve the best quality meals possible.“We have also worked hard to keep the prices down and offer the very best value to our customers.
“One example of that is our fresh fish and chips, where you can really taste the difference, and offers superb value.
“We have plenty of hearty pub-food on our menu, but we have lots of items which have a real twist to them too, so there’s something different to suit all tastes.
