Ali Barker – Ensemble

Ali Barker’s work expresses music and sound in colour. She works with a fixed palette to represent the colours she perceives through her experiences of the phenomenon of sound-colour synaesthesia – when listening to music, she perceives notes of the musical scale as specific colours.

Meet the Artist: Saturday 8 July, 11am – 3pm
Ali will be available to chat to on The Landing and will conduct tours of her exhibition at 12pm and 1:30pm. Tours are free and booking is required as spaces limited. To book your space, please email caroline.charnock@sefton.gov.uk.
